About 1.5 miles from the lovely ‘pueblo blanco’ of Canillas de Aceituno. The village is 42 miles east of Malaga airport and 30 minutes north of the beaches and shops of Torre Del Mar, and the El Ingenio mall, with the Eroski superstore in Velez Malaga.

Canillas De Aceituno
The village, in the hills of the Sierra Tejeda, under the imposing Maroma mountain, has many bars, at least three good restaurants and many small shops. The excellent village swimming pool is open during the summer months -June through September.
The area is superb for walkers, artists and photographers. The historic towns of Nerja (40 mins), Malaga (1hr), Granada and the Alhambra (2hrs) and Cordoba (3hrs) are all within easy travelling distance for day-visits.
Car hire is recommended, although airport transfers can be arranged for those not wishing, or unable, to drive. Cost on enquiry.

Local activities in and around Vinuela, Costa del Sol - Malaga
The area is beautiful, close to a National Park and will suit hill walkers, artists, photographers and those looking for peace and quiet.
The beach and attractions of Torre Del Mar and other resorts are half an hour away - with scuba diving, sailing and fishing all available. A 'water park' is in Velez Malaga.
The village of Canillas de Aceituno is an attractive typical 'peublo blanco', with many others in the surrounding area and has a communal swimming pool of high standard, with pool bar/restaurant open during the summer months.
Granada and the Alhambra are 90 minutes away with the museums and history of Malaga only an hour away, with good public transport links from Velez Malaga. Cordoba and Sevilla are close enough for visits. The old town of Nerja with its cliffs, beaches and famous caves is only 35 minutes away.
Specialist activities - horse riding, quad bike and motorbike activities etc. are all close at hand. The village has sufficient shops to meet most needs, but a wider selection can be found in Velez Malaga and Torre Del Mar, including the large El Ingenio mall.
Canillas de Aceituno lies north east of Velez Malaga, about 20 minutes inland from the Autovia Mediteraneo. Full directions will be provided with booking confirmation.
