The Granny's Balcony owes it's name to Lavinia Aghito Svaluto Moreolo, born in 1894, grandmother of the current owner and descendant of the very famous painter Tiziano Vecellio, whose daughter also named Lavinia was born in the little Alps village of Pieve di Cadore (only 170 kmt away) . Lavinia Aghito Svaluto Moreolo chose this little Apt as her winter home, lleaving the splendour of the many palaces and Venetian villas where she spent her whole life. She preferred to spend her leisure time in this special unique but simple setting where she could enjoy the stimulation of Padova city life and cultural attractions. She found inspiration in this home and city and you will no doubt experience the same special qualities that make life here so desirable.
