In the middle of the Maremma in south Tuscany, close to the famous Etruscan Sites of Tarquinia, one finds the tranquil small Village of Capalbio Scalo. The village is 7 Kms from the Capalbio Ancient District Castello and is just 1.5kms to 16 kmtrs of wild and beautiful sparkling clean beaches and sea, reachable by bike, car or by the small free Bus. The picturesque village and the surrounding region is well known and frequented by discerning travellers who realize its many charms and special qualities.
The Village has several shops that meet ones needs for local foods and other necessities. The Monday Market has very reasonable prices for a wide range of items including clothing, local produce, meat and fish.
Once upon a time the noble Borghese Family owned a large and beautiful rural property including an ancient Saracen Tower overlooking Burano Lake and the Tirrenian Sea. Now this incomparable area has been recognized as a protected zone by the World Wildlife Foundation.

For eventual damages is requested a caution of euro 150 per week, refoundable on final judgment of the owner.
