Travel along the scenic coastline on the famous Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Miniature Railway, stopping off on route to climb to the top of the old Dungeness lighthouse or to check out the cactus garden of the late film director Derek Jarmen. Treat to the family to great days out at the traditional towns of Rye and Hythe or the fun seaside resorts of Dymchurch and Hastings.
Golfers are only 10 minutes walk away from the links course at Littlestone Golf Club and for lovers of excellent local food and drink, lunch at the nearby famous "Pilot" which is said to serve the best fish and chips in England or sample "Lookers Pie" named after the shepherds who used to look after the sheep on the marshes and were known as "lookers" at one of the many pubs and restaurants in the area.
