This lovely 18th century house is situated in the high street of this popular and attractive town of St Valery Sur Somme. In a private courtyard setting with a raised terrace area for summer dining and a beautiful working fireplace for warm autumn or winter breaks.
The accomodation is set on two floors - Ground floor consists of large sitting room with sofa bed for two, TV, with French Channels, DVD, Hi-Fi, superb contemporary fireplace and open plan kitchen - fully fitted with hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave oven. Dining room leading off and leading to laundry room with washing machine and separate WC.
Spiral staircales leading to first floor open plan bedroom with contemporary four poster bed and beautiful stone walling. Bathroom with modern roll top bath and seperate shower area and washbasin. There is an additional single bed on the first floor.
This property has recently been renovated and is presented in superb condition. However, it is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

The town is within easy reach of the fine beaches along the Cote d'Opal. Fort Mahon with the Aqualud theme park and the chic resort of Le Touquet with water theme parks are worth a visit. Top class golf courses are available nearby. Calais 90 minutes, Paris 2 hours by car.
The sea is a few metres from the property (not for swimming or bathing). St. Valery was the point from which William the Conqueror set sail for England and is still a traditional fishing port, On Sundays there is a fine market along the quai for local stallholders and others. A narrow gauge steam railway operates across the marshes to Le Crotoy
