This newly built villa is situated in a beautiful rural setting with splendid views looking towards the medieval village of Saint-Cyprien, 1 miles away.
Saint-Cyprien itself boasts an abbey, shops, supermarket, restaurants and a thriving weekly market on the sunday morning.
The many Chateaux and Bastide towns of the Dordogne are all within a short drive, offering lots to see and do in a peaceful & lovely location.
With its 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private pool and grassy garden, Crabidou is ideal for up to 8 guests.
Crabidou is newly furnished and equipped - it also has the benefit of full central heating making it perfect for winter lets.
The accommodation is on two levels and consists of: A large lounge with TV, DVD, Hi Fi, chairs and two sofas and double French doors which lead out onto the terrace. The dining area has seating for 8. The well-equipped modern kitchen has a fridge/freezer, hot plate, oven, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast table. Adjacent is a laundry room with washing machine and storage area. There is also sep toilet at that level.
The lounge leads onto a large covered terrace (from which the pool is visible) with wooden deck, equipped with tables, chairs, umbrella. There is a built in bbq close by for you to enjoy. The terrace offers a magnificient view onto the countryside and the medival village of St Cyprien. Ideal for that sundowner with a child glass of local wine!
From the lounge a large stairs goes down the garden level where are the light and airy troughout bedrooms - the 2 twin bedrooms and 2 double beeded rooms are very comfortable - they all have french doors leading onto the garden and are furnished with a built in wardrobe offering a large storage capacity.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and a private shower room. There is another shower room with a shower, toilets and sink.
The pool (10m x 5m) is accessible from the house on a path and equiped with a cover for security and to keep it warm at night. It is surrounded by decking offering shady and sunny areas to sit and lie in. There are sunloungers. The pool is ideally suited to children with steps.
The private garden offers grassy areas to enjoy and play in.
There is space for several cars to park.

If you like walking, water sports, horse-riding or cycling, you'll find what you're looking for in the hills and valleys that are so much part of the Périgord region. Golfers also have a 18 holes course only 10 minutes drive away at Le Golf de L'olivarie.
The more adventurouse can enjoy Quad-Biking, Go-Karting, or taking to the rivers in a Canoe or Kayak. But there's nothing to stop you simply enjoying a quiet walk in the countryside!! The local area abounds in wildlife such as Rabbits, Deer, Owls, Hawks, and Woodpeckers. For walkers there are many footpaths starting from the house!
Saint-Cyprien is a lovely medieval village - there is lot of activities to be done during summer time The colored market on the sunday morning is splendid and offers an array of local produce. The local supermarket sell everything including cheeses, fish ... and good wine !!
Golfers also have a 18 holes course only 10 minutes drive away at Le Golf de L'olivarie.
Rental Notes: Changeover day is Saturday, althought we are willing to consider other days in mid and low season.
Arrivals - Saturday afternoon after 4.00 o’clock, Departures - Saturday morning by 10.00 o’clock.
Long winter lets available from October - March by negotiation.
For winter lets there would be a supplement for heating.
30% deposit with booking. Remainder to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. Breakage deposit of £200 (300euros) to be paid on arrival at cottage, returnable on departure. Guests are requested to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next guests. A cleaning service is available, if required, at a cost of 90 Euros which would be payable locally to our agent. Bed linen and towels are not incl to the price but can be hired locally. Please advise when booking if you require these services.
