There are 2 Bar restaurants only 300 mtrs away and lots more in nearby Santo Estevao village.

The villa is complemented with beautiful well maintained gardens with many fruit trees including, Olives, Limes, Figs, Lemons, Almonds.
The pool is 9x5 mtrs and is salt water, giving the reduced need for chlorination and, an overall better water quality.there is also a freshwater poolside shower. The pool area has lots of terracing and, plenty of sunbeds (8), a table and plenty of chairs for outside dining, there is also a built in bbq.The breath taking views over the valley are astounding and, sunsets are unbelievably romantic. The pool also has underwater illumination and, at night this is complemented by the garden and terrace illuminations which, make the most romantic setting for evenings around the villa.
The villa is tastefully furnished to very high standard. The kitchen is fully equipped with large extending dining table and chairs, Oven/hob, kettle,toaster, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. The lounge has good quality and comfortable seating, a 2 seater sofa and a three seater double sofa bed, there is a radio cd, dvd player and collection of dvds, 32 inch lcd tv with freeview tv giving english terrestrial channels and lots more.
The villa is complemented in winter with full gas central heating.
The Town of Tavira is within easy reach, 5minutes by car and approx 8-10 euros by taxi.
The Village of Santo Estevao with it's bars and restaurants is easily walkable.
Beaches are mainly Island beaches in this area and, they are easily accessible and reachable mainly, by cheap water taxis or small ferries.
Lots of quality Golf courses are close by.The larger courses in the golden triangle(Villamoura area) are within 30 minutes drive and, there are 6 excellent courses within 20 minutes; the nearest being only 5 minutes away.
Situated in and elevated position on the side of the valley, the villa benefits from cooling breezes in the summer, there are Mosquito blinds on most windows to allow comfortable sleeping.

Local activities in and around Tavira, Eastern Algarve
Nestling in the heart of the Ria Formosa nature reserve this area is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, in particular bird watchers. The flora and fauna in this area make it such a special place.
The beautiful and ancient town of Tavira is the main local area of activity, it has many bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Tavira still remains unspoilt and is not "too touristy"
The restaurants in Tavira are of a very high standard and, offer a variety of cuisines from, the local dishes "like Mama makes" to more western european dishes, obviously there are the highest quality fish restaurants here too.
The nearby fishing Villages of Cabanas and, our favourite- Santa Luzia also offer a good alternatives to Tavira, with fantastic choices of bars and restaurants, Santa Luzia is an absolute must do night out!(15 euros taxi from villa)
There is a water park at Loule, and there is Zoomarine at Guia, this is a fantastic day out for the whole family with, dolphin and seal shows to delight everyone, there is also falconry and, many birds and animals in fantastic surroundings.
Why not take a day trip into spain, either drive straight across the river Guadiana which forms the border with Spain or, you can take the ferrie from Vila Real Sto Antonio to the beautiful fishing port of Ayamonte, there' lots of shops and some great little Tapas bars here but, don't forget it's 1hr ahead on the clock! so leave early as the shops observe the traditional siesta.
Seville is easily reached by the A22 main road and, it shouldn't take longer than 2 hours by car-well worth a 1 or 2 night break, it's a fantastic city with loads to do.
Some other towns worth a visit are Fuseta, Olhao, and the obvious- Faro. All easily accessible via the A22 or get the cheap coastal railroad from Tavira or, a bus.
2 of the best beaches are at Tavira island (ferries from the town centre) or a must visit is Barrill beach situated just off the west end of Santa Luzia. (full info in villa)
25-30 minutes from Faro airport along the A22 motorway, take the Sao Bras Alportel road signed for Santo Estevao and Santa Catarina.

Rental Notes: Change over days and duration of stays are flexible. Prices are per week and include all utilities, cleaning is weekly with a change of linen and towels. A cot and High chair are available (if required). Please take your own towels for sunbathing and the beach.
A deposit of 25% is required on booking the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your departure, or immediately if the booking is made within 8 weeks of the departure date.
A breakages deposit of £100 (payable with your balance) which will be refunded within 5 days of return of the villa keys to us providing, our manager has found everything to be in order after checking the Villa inventory.
Car hire- preferential rates are available as a service to customers only, please ask for a quote.
