Hope Cottage is positioned along a row of granite stone terraced cottages that ooze old world charm in the ancient coastal town of Penryn. Once a thriving port and a centre for commerce, Penryn is reputed to be one of Cornwall's oldest and best surviving historic towns. Today it is a vibrant place giving home to quaint streets, small passageways, galleries, a restaurant, a wine bar, pubs and cafes. Within walking distance of the cottage is the town quayside on the creek that leads to the wide stretch of sailing waters of Carrick roads and Falmouth Bay. Here, a variety of traditional craft are moored next to the modern Jubilee Wharf with its café and shops. Falmouth is within a 10 minute drive and is a fantastic location for all ages with its fabulous choice of beaches, challenging golf course and the National Maritime Museum.
The ground floor incorporates a spacious sitting room with a granite stone open fire place, a well equipped kitchen/diner and a private sun lounge. Upstairs is a bathroom and three well appointed bedrooms, one being equipped with a double and single bed. To the rear is a small enclosed garden, which is a private sun trap in which to have a barbecue or just relax. Pets welcome. Parking can be found in the immediate vicinity.
