The cottage has a beautiful lawned garden, and private parking. Yanway cottage is a romantic retreat, but would equally suit a family of 3 or 4.

Yanway cottage is a characterful cottage, full of lakeland charm and original features. The interior is contemporary but still retaining a cosy atmosphere, ideal for romantic breaks, or family holidays. The cottage is locacted on a bridle path, so no traffic. Yet there is a traditional pub only a 5 minute walk away, which is famous for its delicious food. There is a spacious garden, mainly laid to lawn, which offers al frescoe dining during the summer months. This cottage is an absolute delight in an ideal location with fantastic views and great walks.

Local activities in and around Windermere, North
Troutbeck is famous for its stunning scenery, therefore a favourite with walkers. It is only a 5 minute drive to Bowness and Ambleside, both offering watersports, and local shops and restauraunts. Troutbeck is a conservation area as the cottages date back to 16th century, and is what makes this area so special. There is little traffic in troutbeck, therefore it is one of the most tranquil parts of the south lakeland area.
Troutbeck is a right turn after the esso gagrage on the ambleside road, 5 mins outside of bowness.

There is also a £100 damage deposit payable with the balance in the form of a seperate cheque, this is returned to you if no damages are reported. short breaks available at a daily rate.
