Yanway cottage is a characterful cottage, full of lakeland charm and original features. The interior is contemporary but still retaining a cosy atmosphere, ideal for romantic breaks, or family holidays. The cottage is locacted on a bridle path, so no traffic. Yet there is a traditional pub only a 5 minute walk away, which is famous for its delicious food. There is a spacious garden, mainly laid to lawn, which offers al frescoe dining during the summer months. This cottage is an absolute delight in an ideal location with fantastic views and great walks.

Local activities in and around Windermere, North
Troutbeck is famous for its stunning scenery, therefore a favourite with walkers. It is only a 10 minute drive to Bowness and Ambleside, both offering watersports, and local shops and restauraunts. Troutbeck is a conservation area as the cottages date back to 1500s, which is what makes this area so special. There is little traffic in troutbeck, therefore it is one of the most tranquil parts of the south lakeland area.
Troutbeck is a right turn after the esso gagrage on the ambleside road, 10 mins outside of bowness.
