Main bedroom
The cottage has been our very happy holiday home for many years and continues to be our favourite place to get away from it all!
Sleeping 6+ comfortably in three bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges (one with an open fireplace) and a fully fitted kitchen/diner, it is beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for your stay as well as an abundance of books and board games.
The master bedroom has a double bed and a decked balcony which captures the sun for most of the day.
Bedroom two has twin beds, and bedroom three is a loft room with twin beds and a sofa. There is room in Bedroom 3 for 2 extra Z-beds which are supplied and the room is very suitable for children and young people. There is one bathroom upstairs, with a bath, shower and toilet, and there is also a shower room and toilet on the ground floor, which is perfect for cleaning up after trips to the beach.
The living area of the house on the ground floor has a cosy, comfortable lounge with a working fireplace, piano, TV, video and DVD, PlayStation 2, mini hi-fi, and an abundance of books and board games. There is also a small study area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, including a dishwasher and washer/drier and an expandable dining table seating up to 8. There is also a separate sunroom with 2 sets of patio doors which captures the afternoon and evening sun, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day and, if you have children, some peaceful respite!
It is often tranquil to sit in the small enclosed front garden where there is a cobbled patio and table and chairs. Perfect for people watching while reading the morning paper.

Local activities in and around Morfa Nefyn, North Wales
The beach at Morfa Nefyn is just three minutes walk from the cottage. It is mainly sand with small amounts of shale. Walking along the beach to the west is the small, picturesque fishing hamlet of Porthdinllaen, famous for its pub, the Ty Coch, which lies at the top of the beach.
Morfa Nefyn is situated midway along the north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula. With its long sheltered sandy beach, Porth Dinllaen, there is an almost perfect semi circle with headlands at either end and backed by low cliffs. The beach offers safe bathing, boating and water sports and excellent walks across the beach to the pretty village of Porthdinllaen.
Archaeologists have dated the remains of Trwyn Dinllaen Iron Age Hill Fort, on the headland to the west, at around 100BC, Morfa Nefyn’s earliest known settlers. A walk along the headland today shows little evidence of their existence, (the Iron Age Fort is obscured by the modern Nefyn Golf Course), but is compensated for by the magnificent views across the bay and towards the mountains of Yr Eifl. The Iron Age settlers certainly knew how to choose their spot!
Golfing, walking, bathing, touring, visiting castles, or riding on steam trains - all are withing a short distance of Morfa Nefyn as well as market day in Pwllheli and plenty of opportunity to sample the local cuisine!
Morfa Nefyn Golf Club
Morfa Nefyn Golf Club used to be described as one of Wales’ ‘best kept secrets’, but today the secret is out and visitors from all over the world make the trip to this spectacular piece of coastline known as the Llŷn Peninsula to experience not only the challenge of the golf course, but also the breathtaking scenery and tranquillity of its secluded location.
The cottage is situated at the top of the beach road just past the crossroads at the centre of Morfa Nefyn.
