Situated in a quiet rural location designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Boar House is surrounded by stunning countryside and close to fantastic beaches.
It has shared use of a fully heated indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and games room. The Jurassic Coast a world Heritage site is accessible by footpath from the Farm (3 miles).
The Boar House has a small, enclosed garden and patio. The interior is airy & modern in design with slate floors in the main living area and breakfast bar facilities for dining. It is ideal for couples but guests preferring more space or a more traditional feel might prefer The Old Marble Shed.
Ground Floor: Open plan beamed living/dining room with high ceiling and French doors to patio. The living area includes a colour TV, dvd player and radio/cassette/CD aswell as a coal/wood burner. Sofa bed (for+1). Modern fitted kitchen area with gas hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. Double bedroom with 5ft.bed. Shower room WC.
Electricity and full gas central heating included. Initial supply of solid fuel provided then available locally. Parking. Travel Cot High chair. Small enclosed garden with patio furniture. Duvets with linen. Towels. Pets. Easy walking access.
Woodyhyde Farm sits in beautiful open countryside with lovely views of the surrounding Purbeck Hills. The attractive stone farmhouse is complimented by an imaginative collection of period barn conversions all sympathetically modernised and refurbished in a contempoary style so providing excellent quality accommodation for any season.
The properties have use of a converted barn that provides excellent indoor facilities open 9am to 9pm.There is a heated swimming pool 10m x 5m and a spacious sauna. In the games room there is table tennis,table football and a pool table. Also a gym (adults only). Guests have access to the surrounding 20 acres of organic farmland at times grazed by sheep and cows. There is also a large enclosed games field with play equipment for small children.

This is excellent walking country - four paths lead from the grounds over country side from where they link with a magnificent network of paths including the spectacular Dorset Coast Path, running through the area now designated a World Heritage Site and known as The Jurassic Coast. The historic stone village of Corfe Castle is just 1.5 miles away with restaurants, shops and pubs.
The scenic Swanage steam railway passes through the valley close to Woodyhyde. The town of Swanage with its sandy beach and traditional seaside resort attraction including pier and summer Punch and Judy is just 4.5 miles away. The magnificent countryside and sandy beaches of the Studland Penninsula, managed and owned by the National Trust are just 7 miles away.
There are watersports in season at Poole, Bournemouth, Studland and Swanage. Fishing and horse riding and bike hire are all nearby and there are several golf courses within easy reach. Also castles to visit at Corfe and Lulworth and as well as Sandy beaches there are rock pools at Lulworth Cove and Kimmeridge bay.Fun days out at Monkey World, The Tank Museum and The Steam Railway are all available in easy travelling distance.
