Villa La Rive ( newly build in 2008 ) is a luxurious holiday home situated on the private estate Lesigne, directly bording the river Lot.
The villa has 4 double bedrooms with airconditioning and each with their own private bathroom, a tastefully antique furnished living room and an open pine kitchen. The villa is suitable for 8 persons.
The enclosed estate Lesigne has a spectacular view over the river and the picturesque village Fongrave on the other side of the river. A private road with beautiful old trees leads to the villa.
In front of the villa there is a large terrace of 2500 sq.ft., in connection with a landing stage. There is a boat with outboard engine available ( free of charge ) for trips on the river or fishing.
The pool 10x3,5 meters is submerged in the terrace and can be closed with an electric solid cover.

Le Temple sur Lot is situated practically in between Bordeaux and Toulouse, both are situated at approximately 100 km. distance.
The very cosy village Ste Livrade you can reach in 5 min. by car, 10 min. by bicycle or 15 min. by boat, here you can find everything you need, on every Friday is a very big and busy market.
The very close by larger villages are Villeneuve sur Lot ( 12 km. ) and Agen ( 25 km. ).
Lot et Garonne is the so called Tuscany of France, because of the sloping landscapes and the numerous bastidevillages like for example Pujols, Penne d' Agenais and Monflanquin, they remind you strongly of Tuscany.
Also for winelovers this is a perfect area, within less than 1 hour drive you will find Cahors, Buzet, Duras, Bergerac and Bordeaux.
The direct surroundings offer you beside extensive aquatical facilities also the facilities for walking, bicycling and golfing ( at 15 km. 18 holes) In Agen you can visit a Walibi ( funpark for children )
