A short walk to Westminster Abbey, House of Parliament, Big Ben, the London Eye. Downing Street, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Soho, The Mall, Mayfair, Harrods, River Thames & the very very best of London or just sit in the park and watch out for the raising of the flag at the Palace which informs you that “THE QUEEN” your neighbour is at home.
Everyone loves the location watch the TV crew’s film LIVE outside the houses of Parliament or Scotland Yard. Maybe take a walk from the apartment along the river Thames taking in the London Eye, Tower of London, London Bridge.
You could walk all the way to Greenwich set the time on your watch and catch the river boat back to Westminster pier by your apartment.

Monarchs buried here include Henry VII, Elizabeth I, and Mary, Queen of Scots. Nearby is the Tomb to the Unknown Warrior and Poet's Corner, the resting place of Chaucer, Robert Browning, and Alfred Tennyson among others. Number Ten Downing Street, the Prime Minister's office, is also nearby. Walk around the corner to check if the Royal Standard is flying ‘this means she is at home’. Its Central London, no need for a car you will be central to many world famous sites.
If you want to travel beyond walking distance from the apartment then there is the underground next door, this will take you around London and beyond, a few stops on the tube leads you to: The Tower of London, The Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Madam Teussuads, London Eye, London Aquarium, Kew Gardens, Victoria Railway & Coach station is nearby and takes you to Windsor Castle, Brighton etc. Note the building opposite where the Queens Guards are housed, watch them rehears for the changing of the guards or simply walk over and see it at Buckingham Palace.
Nearby is horse guard’s parade where our Queen meets head of States on their visits to London and they conduct The Trooping of the Colors (known as Queens Birthday).
