Local activities in and around Sissi Village, Crete
Sisi beach is 5 min drive. and it's a 10 minute drive to either Milatos beach, and the large famous Sun beach at Malia. All these beaches have sun beds/parasols, toilets, showers, first aid, restaurants and bars.
There is a golf course less than 25 min. from the villa.
Heraklion airport is 40 km from the villa. All car hire can be arranged, and if you would prefer, you can be picked up at the airport, and driven to the villa, where your hire car will await you.
The Villa is situated just outside of Sisi which is a large fishing village with hotels, beaches, a harbour, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and supermarkets. It takes about 10 mins to walk into Sissi.
There is a Minoan palace between Sisi and Malia which is still being excavated. The town of Agios Nickolaos is 10 km away and is a great place to visit the market and enjoy the harbour.
