Situated in a small exclusive development at Astbury Falls, not far from the historical market town of Bridgnorth, this Scandinavian log cabin enjoys a beautiful, tranquil countryside setting within an estate that has a trout farm and fishing.
The countryside of Shropshire is largely unknown and unspoilt. The Welsh border country is only a "stones throw" away. Bridgnorth is not far from the world heritage site of Ironbridge where there are ten museums to explore. The recently refurbished major city of Birmingham can be reached quickly by car or by train.
This is an excellent area for walkers and cyclists with many historical towns and villages to enjoy. Even young families can enjoy the many up and coming facilities.
The no-smoking lodge has two double bedrooms. The first has a double bed with an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a single electric bed and was designed for the needs of disabled users with an overhead electric hoist and an integral bathroom and toilet. Flexible sleeping arrangements are facilitated by the use of a single, comfortable airbed and a similar double airbed that can be used in the lounge.
The lounge has a comfortable settee and two armchairs, satellite television/radio and a DVD player. The lounge also has a flame-effect gas fire.
The kitchen is well equipped with a gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
The lodge is heated by gas central heating.
The lounge/dining area overlooks the terrace and the fishing lake which hosts a diverse selection of wild birds.
The terrace is large enough for a table and six outdoor chairs.
