This newly converted, detached barn on the edge of the quiet hamlet of Wick, sleeps up to 5 & is just behind the farmhouse & looks out onto the meadows of this small working beef farm. Many original character features have been skilfully retained, at the same time incorporating excellent quality modern facilities and comfortable, attractive furnishings. Ideal for that peaceful getaway. The kitchen area opens onto a flagstoned patio; outside the view is across the ajoining meadows, and over to Aller.
Swanlake barn sleeps upto 5 people in generous sized rooms; peacefully nestled in the countryside hamlet of Wick one mile from Langport, the heart of The Somerset Levels.
Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge & Kitchen/Diner. Utility Room. Doiwnstairs showerroom with WC and washbasin.
First Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds & occasional bed. Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin.

Underfloor heating downstairs & Central Heating upstairs.
Off Road Parking for two plus cars.

The Levels are a unique and beautiful landscape of low-lying wetlands, rich in wildlife. meadows, edged by "rhynes", the local term for water courses, overhung by willow trees, interspersed with attractive villages, create a tranquil and timeless atmosphere.
Gentle, quiet, undulating roads and byways make this perfect countryside for walking or cycling and anglers can enjoy some excellent coarse fishing from the banks of the many rivers.
The wildlife includes deer, badger & the large variety of birdlife that the Somerset levels attract. Local industries include cider making and withy growing for basket industries, which you can learn all about at the nearby "Willow and Wetlands Visitor Centre".
