Charmingly restored, "Loilease" nestles in the idyllic Normandy countyside close to the Brittany border. The cottage is just far enough from the madding crowd to be peaceful and picturesque, yet ideally located for the sandy beaches and the spectacular coastline.
Must-sees like the breathtaking Mont St Michel are close at hand, and other activities such as golf, horse-riding, sailing, fishing and walking are all available nearby. The kids will love it too.....the area is jam-packed with stuff they'll enjoy, including adventure playgrounds, aquariums, zoos, and water-parks.

Loileau is a beautifully restored 19th century farmhouse set in the stunning Normandy countryside. Close the Brittany border, just 40 minutes away from Le Mont-St-Michel and the stunning beaches of Granville, it's the perfect family getaway.
This traditional Normandy farmhouse is surrounded on all sides by fields and mature trees and has three bedrooms: one large double, one large twin and a further twin. To the front of the cottage there is a large landscaped garden and to the rear, an orchard and further land all overlooking farmland.
Loileau is full of character - all bedrooms have exposed beams and stonework and there's an inviting log burning stove in the huge fireplace in the front room. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, a microwave oven and a dishwashed (you don't want to be washing up on holiday do you?). Other amenities include a washing machine, a newly installed shower, VHS video, dvd player and TV with a large array of videos, an extensive library of books, bikes, boules and a hammock!
This idyllic holiday home is in a stunning rural location at the end of a country lane yet is just two miles from the nearest village (for bread, provisions and beer) with the larger market town of St Hilaire just five miles away.

Local activities in and around St Hilaire Du Harcouet, Normandy
There are beautiful sandy beaches an easy drive away, the nearest just 35 minutes, offering you rolling sand dunes and beautiful views of le Mont St Michel. If that is not enough, then the Route du Baie is dotted with numerous beaches, perfect for building castles, collecting shells, paddling and sun-bathing.
Alternatively, the spectacular Emerald Coast is within easy reach; the bays, coves and beaches of the seaside towns such as St Lunaire, and Dinard are well worth exploring and the seafood is pretty spectacular too.
The Villecartier Forest, with its' footpaths, cycle ways and boating lake.
St Malo, with its' massive encircling ramparts.
Concale, with its' ancient fishing port and fixation with oysters.
Fougeres, with its' imposing chateau.
It's very close to Saint Hilaire du Harcuoet but we'd prefer to send you detailed directions that won't fit here! We don't want you starting off your holiday searching the lanes of rural Normandy.
