La Petite Maison de Castels is a charming little stone house ideal for one couple.
Set on the earth of the black Perigord, 20 km west of Sarlat, this is the ideal base from which to explore the area.
The house is very peaceful and enjoys a large mature garden - But is also has the convenience of a five minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of the lovely medieval village of Saint-Cyprien.
Picture yourself - you can lie in bed enjoying the birds song and send your partner to get the croissants in the mornings!
The huge swimming pool (15m x 7m) at the bottom of the garden is to share occasionnally with the owner - (who lives in Szwitzerland and so is not often in residence!) - it offers an exceptional view over the St-Cyprien village and abbey.
The house is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. It has received 3 stars from the french gites classification for the comfort and equipment provided.
Set on two levels the house comprises on garden level : a 30m² bedroom with a king size bed, wardrobe, sofa, and a sink. Note that bed linen and towels are provided and that bed will be made up upon your arrival. It leads on 2 very pleasant covered terraces both equiped with table and chairs to relax outside.
From the bedroom, stairs goes down to the large sitting room (30m²) equipped with sofas, TV and table and chairs. It largely leads onto the private back terrace also equiped with table and chairs to dine outside. The kitchen also leads onto the back terrace, very well equiped it has a cooker, oven, micro waves, dishwasher. Adjacent is the shower room with a shower unit and sink. Next is the laundry room with a washing machine and storage area. There is sep toilets on that floor.

Rental Notes: RENTAL NOTES: Saturday is the changeover day from June till end of September. Other times by arrangement.
The price of the rental includes the costs of Electricity, Hot Water and Cooking Gaz. The heating is charged as an extra during colder months, billed on your departure in function of your consumption.
Bed Linen and Towels are included into the price - bed is made up prior your arrival
Guests are asked to leave the property cleaned and ready for the next guests when living - an optional cleaning service on departure is available at an extra cost of 60€ payable localy to our house caretaker on arrival - please indicate if you wish to hire this service when booking.
A deposit of 300 Euros against any breakages and damage is required on arrival. This deposit will be refunded at the end of your stay.
