The property sits in 3 acres of land including peaceful parkland gardens, open paddocks, orchards & plunge pool. Hidden away in the tranquility of rural France you are sheltered from the hustle & bustle but close enough to towns & theme parks if you choose. Ideal for holidays & short breaks, for couples & for familes.

This charming gite has been recently renovated to bring together the wonderful old character of the building, including original oak beams throughout, with the conveniences of modern day living. It is thoughtfully furnished to give you all the comforts you expect from home.
The accommodation comprises:- Entrance/Dining Hall. With doors to front & rear gardens.
Lounge: With fire, UK satellite TV, video, DVD, radio & CD player. Plenty of DVD's, videos, books & games for you to use during your stay.
Kitchen: Newly fitted and equipped with gas cooker, microwave combi oven/grill, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. Iron, ironing board, clothes horse & pegs. Washing capsules and dishwasher capsules supplied.
Bathroom: With full sized bath and shower over, wash basin and WC.
Bedroom 1: With double bed, large double wardrobe, bedside drawers, chest of drawers & chair. Bedroom 2: With twin beds, large double wardrobe, chest of drawers & chair. Bed linen & bathroom towels are included in the price. A welcome pack is also included in the price.

Outside: At the rear of the gite you have a patio area for enjoying al fresco meals or maybe you prefer to sit under the shade of one of the many trees.
During the summer months there is a plunge pool and children's swings.
Also available are plenty of outdoors games for your use such as badminton, football, pertanque, volleyball, frisbie.
Although the accommodation is self catering we can also offer home cooked meals made with local ingredients either delivered to the gite or eaten within the dining room of the main farmhouse.

Marais Poitevin – “La Venise Verte” – the Green Venice. La Rochelle – fortified port & hidden streets lined with arcades, La Rochelle is a town popular with painters. Nearby La Tranche and Les Sables-d’Olonne - are beautiful seaside resorts with miles of sandy beaches.
Futuroscope - Poitiers – you could spend more than one day exploring all the attractions this futuristic universe has to offer. The club house is an old chateau with a bar and restaurant serving French cuisine at reasonable prices in surroundings full of character. La Foret de l'Aventure - A great place for the children with rope ladders and all sorts of activities high up among the trees. They also have mini golf and there is go karting across the road.
