This charming property has been recently renovated to bring together the wonderful old character of the building, including original oak beams throughout, with the conveniences of modern day living. It is thoughtfully furnished to give you all the comforts you expect from home.
The accommodation comprises:- Entrance/breakfast room with doors to front & rear gardens.
Spacious Lounge: With wood burning stove, UK/French satellite TV, video, DVD, radio & CD player. Plenty of DVD's, videos, books & games for you to use during your stay.
Kitchen: Newly fitted and equipped with gas cooker, microwave combi oven/grill, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. Iron, ironing board, clothes horse & pegs. Washing capsules and dishwasher capsules supplied.
Large Dining Room with French Doors onto the Terrace.
Bedroom 1: with double bed, Bedroom 2: with twin beds, Bedroom 3: with twin beds, Bedroom 4: with king sized bed & en-suite bathroom, Bedroom 5: sleeps 3, with wash basin, Bathroom: with full sized bath and shower over, wash basin and WC. Separate WC.
Additional bed available for bedroom 4. Bed linen & bathroom towels are included in the price. A welcome pack is also included in the price.
Outside: At the rear of the property you have a patio area & terrace for enjoying al fresco meals or maybe you prefer to sit under the shade of one of the many trees.
During the summer months there is a plunge pool and children's swings.

Niort – great shops with designer labels at prices much lower than on the boulevards of Paris. Marais Poitevin – “La Venise Verte” – the Green Venice.
La Rochelle – fortified port and hidden streets lined with arcades a town popular with painters. Nearby La Tranche and Les Sables-d’Olonne - are beautiful seaside resorts with miles of sandy beaches.
The Futuroscope Theme Park at Poitiers – you could spend more than one day exploring all the attractions this futuristic universe has to offer. The shows give visitors a chance to enjoy breathtaking, unique adventures on land, sea and in space. A great place for young and old alike.
Le Puy du Fou - By day the museum evokes the entire past of the Vendée region, while various attractions lure visitors into the 30 acres of grounds.
During the summer evenings an amazing lakeside extravaganza takes place, the famous Son et Lumière show in which a cast of hundreds stages an open-air historical pageant complete with fireworks, lasers and dances on the lake. All proceeds from the event go to charity.
Fishing at Pescalis Pêche Séjour vacances - Pescalis - Centre de pêche– for the serious fisherman, this is Europe’s premier fishing complex with more than 250 acres of lakes.
Golf at Mazieres-en-Gatine – this beautiful golf course is just 10 minutes drive away from La Sauvagère. There is an 18 hole course, a 6 hole par 3 course, a driving range and a practice putting area. The club house is an old chateau with a bar and restaurant serving French cuisine at reasonable prices in surroundings full of character.
We are easy to find from all major ferry ports. There are airports at Poitiers, La Rochelle & Nantes all served by Ryanair from Stansted. By rail the TGV station is at Poitiers.
