La Faye is only a 40 minute drive from Poitiers airport, and Futuroscope. The house lies 2 miles out of the village of Antigny, at the end of a private lane, well away from the public road and is surrounded by fields. Its' beautiful old stone barns and outbuildings, form a rectangle, surrounding a large grass courtyard.

A large farmhouse kitchen of great character, overlooking the courtyard with a view down to the pool. Flagstone floor, huge stone fireplace with woodburning stove, hand built/ painted kitchen cupboards, large table with chairs, fridge-freezer, gas stove, dishwasher and washing machine. A high chair is available on request.
A large double bedroom overlooking the courtyard, with a wheelchair friendly ensuite bathroom. A cot is available on request. A pretty double bedroom off the kitchen, which overlooks fields at the rear of the house. A bunk bedroom, with beds large enough for adults, overlooking fields at the rear of the house.
The 30 x 30 foot living room is upstairs in what was the granary. With a wealth of beautiful exposed oak beams, there are sofas and arm chairs grouped round a woodburning stove, and 2 single beds in the corners of this huge room which can be used to sleep extra people. Please note that the house is comfortably set up for 10 people; the extra beds are not charged for and will make things like eating round the kitchen table a bit squashed.
The house faces south and so the courtyard is a perfect place for barbecues, games and sunbathing. Gates close the courtyard off from the pool, which is fenced. Leaving the courtyard, a small path takes you round the corner to the magnificent 40 ft pool, which has an attractive terrace with 6 sunloungers, underwater floodlighting at night, and optional heating is available. There is a 'Roman End' with shallow steps, which makes access very easy for young and old. There is an all weather table tennis in the big barn.
