Outside, the beautiful landscaped gardens are the setting for the swimming pool and sunbathing terrace with stunning views of the sea.

Our spacious apartment is ideally situated for the promenade to the nearby lidos and beaches. Just across the road is the new Madeira Forum shopping complex for domestic and designer shopping.
Restaurants, banks and shops are all close by, and Funchal town is only about 25 minutes walk away. Buses and taxis are, however, readily available just outside the main entrance.

We don't have facilities for babies and infants, and regretfully, would prefer children over 10 years of age. The apartment is on the 4th floor and is accessed by lifts.
Local activities in and around Funchal, Madeira
There are 3 sea water lidos within close walking distance. The is also a leisure centre (with indoor swimming pool) and spa (offering beauty treatments and massage) less than 5 mins walk away. Madeira Forum shopping complex offers masses of retail therapy as well restaurants, bowling and cinemas.
Further afield, there are 2 golf courses, deep sea fishing, and of course, the famous levada walks. Levada walking is one of the highlights of visiting Madeira, as is a visit to the Nuns' Valley. The Botanical Gardens and Monte Palace are a must for gardening enthusiasts. Take tea at Reids Hotel, gamble at the Casino and visit the Opera House.
Funchal airport is about a 25 minute taxi journey to our apartment. We are happy to arrange a taxi for you. The taxi driver that we have used for many years is honest and reliable.
