Bled is surrounded by beautiful scenery and there is lots of scope for walking, mountain biking, kayaking, canyoning, horseriding and skiing in the area (4 ski resorts within half an hour's drive).
The town itself offers some good opportunties for shopping and day trips to the beautiful capital Ljubljana are easy possible (less than one hour's drive).
