L'Astrolabe is our larger cottage. It can sleep up to 7. Upstairs there's the large double bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom, and there is also a mezzanine, which has 2 single beds, which is great for young children or even teens. The kitchen, which is fully-equipped, and lounge are downstairs and there's also a second shower-room. There's also a large terrace, with views of the garden and pool.
All of our cottages are set in a lovely thatched hamlet.
They are all independent and come fully equipped with all that you would need when on holidays.

L'Astrolabe is perfect for a family. It sleeps up to 7 people and is very spacious.
The double bedroom upstairs and its ensuite is great for parents, and if there is a small child, there's also a single canapé, which can be used as a bed. This leads onto the mezzanine, which has 2 single beds and is perfect for children or teens.
The 1st floor has got floorboards throughout, except in the bathroom, which has tiles.
The bathroom is equipped with a bath, hand-basin, WC and washing machine.
Downstairs, there is a newly renovated kitchen. It has a large fridge/freezer, 4-ring hob and oven. There is a big table, with 6 chairs.
In the lounge, there's a double sofa-bed and a couple of cane armchairs. There's also a TV, with English TV (BBC, ITV...), and DVD player. For colder days, there's an open fireplace, and if you require wood, you can purchase some directly from us.
There's also a large terrace, which has views on the pool and garden.
The garden is very spacious, with enough room to play football or just let the children run around!
ALL our gîtes have linen, and all beds are made up for your arrival. If you are staying for 2 weeks, we will provide you with a fresh pair of sheets.
We also offer you a large welcoming hamper. In it you have a bottle of red wine, a bottle of cider, a bottle of water, a carton of milk, some biscuits, some tea and coffee, and a few other Breton goodies!
If you want a relaxing and soothing holiday, Kerfec is an ideal location. Not only are we not far from major cities, such as Lorient, Hennebont, Pontivy and Auray, which are lovely to visit, we are also in the heart of the Blavet valley, which has many hiking and cycling paths.
If canoeing or fishing are your hobbies, then the Blavet is great! We have a plot of land on the Blavet, so you'll have your own private spot!
Facilities for this holiday farmhouse in Quistinic, Brittany
1 Double Bedroom, 1 Twin Bedroom. The double bedroom is spacious with a double bed and a single bed, in case there's a small child.
This leads onto an open-plan mezzanine, which has 2 single beds, great for teens or children.
Bathrooms:
1 Bathroom, 1 Shower. Upstairs there's a large bathroom, with hand-basin, WC, bath and washing machine. It is also the en-suite of the main double bedroom. There's a shower room downstairs, with hand-basin, WC.
Kitchen:
Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is brand new. Spacious, with many cupboards for your personal items.
General:
House Linen, Towels Provided, Internet Access. ALL our gîtes come with linen. If you are staying for 2 weeks, we will provide you with a set of new sheets and towels, if you require them.
ALL the beds are made as well.
Dining:
Seating for 6. The large dining table has 6 chairs, but of course more can be added!
Entertainment:
Satellite TV, Video, DVD, CD System. You are linked up to satellite TV. So in case you feel homesick or are just tired of hearing French, you are able to get your English fix!
You can also use the DVD player as a CD player.
Outside:
Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Garden Furniture. You have a lovely terrace, which has views on the pool and the spacious garden.

Local activities in and around Quistinic, Brittany
Quistinic has incredible woodlands, in which you can enjoy the superb views of the Blavet river, the quiet walks in sheltered paths. If you prefer fishing, make your way down to the Blavet River, set your rod on our private plot, and watch the world go by, and, of course, catch your evening meal!
There's a golf, which is to develop into an 18-hole course, not too far, and it's set in a quiet part of the Blavet River.
And we shouldn't forget to mention all the lovely villages, towns and cities, which are part of the Breton heritage, and are just a few kilometers away by car...
From RENNES: Follow the N24, in the direction of LORIENT. Exit at LA GARE DE BAUD. Follow directions to BUBRY/QUISTINIC. Once in QUISTINC, follow the signs to POUL FETAN. We are 200m before: KERFEC.

Rental Notes: ** PAYMENT CONDITIONS: We ask that you pay 25% for the deposit. This is to secure your booking with us. We also ask for the FULL payment to be sent TWO months prior to your arrival.
A separate cheque of €200 or £150 is to be also sent, along with your final payment. This cheque is not cashed in, however it is a security deposit, and in case of any damages or breakages, an appropriate fee for the repairs or replacement, shall be deducted, and a cheque shall be sent back to you, at your designated address, one week after your departure.

** Changeover day is Saturday during the height of summer, however we are flexible once we enter the mid and low seasons.
