Bansko has a fine old town with traditional bar-restaurants and quaint cobbled streets. This is complemented by new developments of hotels and apartment buildings to meet the accommodation needs of today's skiers and boarders.
Bansko is situated in the most beautiful part of the Pirin Mountains and is Bulgaria's premier ski area. A huge investment has been made providing the most modern ski lift facilities and serving an excellent ski area from 1000m up to 2560m. It aspires to host the winter Olympics one day. Newly installed lifts can take up to 2400 people per hour up the mountain and 161 artificial snow cannons guarantee a long ski season from December to April.

The apartment has a Boules (Bowls) lane on-site and is well situated for skiing, boarding, hill-walking, mountain-biking, golf, etc. The town has an ice-skating rink and also available is canoeing, rafting and paragliding.
Golf is available at the newly built course on the edge of the town. The course has been designed by Ian Woosnam, the world-famous golf professional.
Bansko is a historic town with many local sites of cultural interest. It is located in the Pirin Mountains in a World Heritage National Park. It is becoming recognised as an all-year round resort.
Further afield is the world famous Rila Monastery.
Locally, the town has many historic attractions. At night, the town is lively with many local restaurants providing food at prices which are a fraction of their European ski resort equivalents.

The two sofas in the lounge open out to form sofa-beds (a single and a double). If both sofa beds are used then you will need to slide other furniture aside to make space.
As a norm, the apartment is set up for 6 people e.g. six dining chairs. A seventh person is easily accommodated but you should confirm this in advance to ensure that extra chairs, etc are made available by our property agent.
A 50% non refundable deposit is payable on booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before rental.
£100 security deposit or equivalent currency will be required on arrival in cash (Euro, Bulgarian Lev or GBP) and will be refunded on departure providing the apartment is in good order.
