Las Cavernicolas is a beautiful cave house, with stunning views and equipped with all modern conveniences. Situated on a hillside, on the outskirts of a typical Andalucian village.
This cave house is the perfect retreat for a quiet rural escape.

The cave has a large open plan sitting room with a dining table on a raised platform. There is a galley kitchen , two bedrooms and a bathroom. A further single bed is available in the sitting room if required. The cave is fully equipped with bed linen and towel. Running around the front of the cave is a terrace, with patio funiture and a barbecue.
There are stupendous views from here across the village and to the mountains of Castril and La Sagra.The village is about half a kilometer walk away and has several bars and restaurants as well as two supermarkets.
There is a pool in the village, which is open in summer and a wonderful freshwater pool nearby, formed by natural springs, where one can swim with the fish!
There is a weekly market on Wednesdays in the village square and the nearby town of Huescar, 9 kms away, has a larger market on Thursdays and larger supermarkets.
The village fiesta takes place during the first week in August and there are many cultural events staged in the village square every night and the partying goes on until the small hours! Luckily the cave is not near enough to the village plaza for participation in the festivities to be obligatory!
The area is the perfect retreat for walkers, cyclists, ornithologists and artists. Horse riding and canoeing is available in the vicinity and there is a quad bike centre in Huescar.
