Local activities in and around Benalmadena, Costa del Sol - Malaga
Ideally positioned for a peaceful holiday, within a very short walking distance of sea front though steep, with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets to hand and even a disco and casino to enjoy when the sun goes down. 2 mins. by car (10 min walk) to quiet safe sandy beach, with beach bar/café and the usual sunbeds and parasols costing about £3.00 per day, pedalos cost about £6.00 for a 6-seater with a slide. Our houses are only 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport. 15.mins. walk from the nearest town Los Boliches.
Gibraltar is only about 1hr. away by car and Marbella about 3/4 hr. away. There are several large and small sandy beaches ideal for children. Golfers are in their element at the local courses, located minutes from each house. Casa Don Juan is well placed for all amenities. There is a shopping centre at the entrance to the urbanisation and this has a Carrefour supermarket, a bank, newsagents/ booksellers, dry cleaners, tapas bar, Spanish bar restaurant, internet café and excellent Indian restaurant. Benalmadena Costa (coast) is a medium sized resort. The original village Benalmadena Pueblo is approx: 4 kms. inland at the top of the hill and has regular buses. Our houses are a little way up the hill between the coast and the old village.
From Malaga airport follow the A7 direction Algeciras and take exit 217. At end of exit turn left and the Torremar urbanisation is on the right hand side after the shopping centre.
