Close to Paris. Between Versailles & Rambouillet. A very attractive renovated gite, close to other houses in the quiet and peaceful village of Auffargis and located in the natural reserve of the Valley of Chevreuse. The train (the train station is located 2 to 3 miles from the cottage) leads you to Montparnasse Station, in the center of Paris. If your preference is driving, you can use the highway to Paris (You reach the Périphéric through the Tunnel de St Cloud).
There is a modern fitted kitchen including a freezer & dishwasher, a dining area with beams & open plan sitting room with fireplace, and for your entertainment a TV & Video. There is a WC downstairs and also a washing machine. The property has gas central heating. On the first floor there is a full bathroom, a double bedroom and a bedroom with bunk beds. The cottage is very suitable for a family of 4. The property is situated only 9 kms from Rambouillet, 20 kms from Versailles and 35 kms from Paris. Not far of the village of Auffargis are lots of castles, such as Versailles, Rambouillet, Breteuil and Dampierre. Other tourists places worthly of a visit are Thoiry, France Miniature, Espace Rambouillet, Etangs de Hollande, Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay and the Cathedrale of Chartres. With Paris only 35 kms away,there is lots to do and see, many places of interest and for the children, there is of course Disneyland which can be enjoyed by all the family.
