Denia has a very good climate. It attracts travellers all year round, to enjoy some of the 2500 hours of sunshine per year. It's endless beaches, with fine white sand make it very attractive for a family holiday. Formerly being a fishing village, Denia has not lost this charm, but has added on all the services of a modern Mediterranean resort. The medieval castle and old town are places of great historic interest, very worth a visit.
Outings Within half an hours drive there are three attractive parks to visit : 'Terra Mitica' theme Park, like Disney, has some of the largest rides in Europe, Aqualandia is a large 'Water Theme Park' with super-slides, and 'Mundomar' an exciting Animal Theme Park.
