L'Ecurie is on the outskirts of the village of le Pouzat which is only ten minutes drive from the lovely, old town of St Jean D'Angely.
The farmhouse has a roomy open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven, tv/dvd player, hi-fi and comfortable sofa. There is a double master bedroom with ensuite shower room, wash basin and wc. The second bedroom sleeps two and has an ensuite bathroom, wash basin and wc.
The area is rich in Roman art with historic churches, villages and towns. Cognac, Angouleme, Saintes and Bordeaux are all within easy reach. There are excellent restaurants in the vicinity as well as well as a number of markets. Plenty of leisure activities are available including walking, bike rides, an 18 hole golf course at Cognac and boating. The world renowned Cognac houses of Martell, Hennessy and Reme Martin and within easy reach. The beaches of Royan and the town of La Rochelle are both about 45 minutes away.
