Just 5km from bustling town of Condom with all facilities, and excellent weekly markets. Rolling countryside with sunflowers and Armagnac vines. Golf, tennis, horse-riding, bike & canoe hire all nearby and many swimming lakes with sandy beaches.

Le Tilleul sleeps 6-8 people in comfort with a spacious double bedroom and a huge attic bedroom with 4 single beds. A sofabed in a secluded alcove off the living room provides additional sleeping space for up to 2 more guests. Ideal for a large family group, or a family on holiday with grandparents. Baby cot available on request.
The huge farmhouse dining kitchen has a lovely ancient stone fireplace, fitted with cosy wood-burning stove. A big dining table comfortably seats 8 people. The kitchen area is fully equipped with everything you could need, and includes a dishwasher, microwave and a large fridge/freezer.
A separate spacious living room with TV and VCR / DVD players overlooks the pool. A range of videos and DVD's are provided for guests use with plenty of suitable titles for all ages. Two bookcases house local maps and guides to the area, as well as holiday reading and board games for all the family.
Upstairs in the attic bedroom, more books, toys and jigsaw puzzles for a range of ages are provided for our younger guests. A full bathroom is located upstairs, and there is a WC on the ground floor. A utility room has a washing machine and full laundry facilities.
Le Tilleul and Le Figuier (ref. FM5000) have shared use of the courtyard swimming pool (salt water), located between the two properties, and accessed directly from the rear doors of both houses. The pool is 8m x 4m, at a constant depth of 1.5m. There are Roman steps across the full width at one end, and a paved sunbathing area with teak loungers and reclining chairs to the opposite end. For safety reasons, there are child-proof doors from both properties. The pool can be heated by arrangement with owners.
To the other side of Le Tilleul is a separate private enclosed garden. A patio with teak garden furniture and barbecue is set under the ample shade of the lime tree. There is plenty of space for boules, badminton etc. Pets (max. 2) are accepted, subject to an extra cleaning fee.

Local activities in and around Condom, Midi-Pyrenees
Places of interest: Chateau de Larressingle: on your doorstep, as are the Medieval War Machines with daily hands-on demonstrations. Condom: nearest large town with its Cathedral dominating the town centre. Wide-range of shops and restaurants. Also the Armagnac Museum, and daily boat trips on the River Baise. Ancient villages of historical interest at Montreal (10km), Fources (15km), La Romieu, Flarans. Weekly markets at Condom, Nerac, Eauze and Agen. "Parc Walibi", part of the Six Flags empire is at Roquefort near Agen (30km), smaller than many theme parks, but perfect for a family day out, and tickets are good value for money. Bordeaux and the Bordeaux vineyards eg. St Emilion about 90 minutes drive, a great opportunity to stock your wine cellar.
Swimming / recreation: Nearest base de loisirs (leisure park) is at Montréal du Gers (10km), a natural lake, with water slides and a sandy beach. At Gondrin (15km) is a huge man-made outdoor pool, with bumpy slides and corkscrew slides, and a large playground. Further bases de loisirs are at Lislebonne (near Mézin, 10km), Barbotan les Thermes (20km), Lectoure (25km) and more. All good places for a game of boules, badminton, beach volleyball etc. At Condom there is an outdoor public swimming pool, with a full set of diving boards and a grassy area for sunbathing.
Sports: Horse-riding at Escalans (20km), Poudenas (15km) and Les Ecuries d'Armagnac at Valence sur Baise (30km) also offer guided hacks (in English) out into the hills. Tennis - courts available at Condom, Eauze and Gondrin. Golf de Guinlet (18 holes) at Eauze (15km), beautiful, wooded course - said to be the best in the area. Mountain biking: various routes around the area, bike hire at Mézin and other places. Karting, quad bikes, light aircraft all available at Caudecoste (50km).
