A beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom sea-front apartment that can sleep up to 6. Situated in a beautiful headland location surrounded by the warm waters of of the Mediterranean. The apartment offers wonderful views over the Bay of Mazarron; many beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from the balcony.There is a large shared swimming pool in excess of 1000 sq.metres, and a tennis court.
Located on the edge of Isla Plana, near Puerto de Mazarron, on the Costa Calida ('Warm Coast'). This is an area largely untouched and unspolit by mass tourism, called by many the 'Cornwall of Spain'. There are beautiful beaches, a clean warm sea, and mountains. Diving, sailing, golf, walking, and mountain biking are all available locally. The Spanish have been holidaying here for years - now you can too !
The apartment is in the Rosa de los Vientos development in Isla Plana, and has been constructed to a very high quality. There are marble floors, oak doors, and top-brand fittings throughout. The apartment has a lounge, kitchen, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, twin bedroom, and second bathroom.
The lounge has two sofas, one two-seater and one three-seater, the latter being a double sofa-bed. There is a T.V., DVD, and music system. At the end of the lounge a door give access to the balcony and the wonderful sea-views. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes with ample storage, and also have access to the balcony. Air Conditioning/Central Heating is installed throughout.
The Rosa de los Vientos development has been built to the highest standards, and the quality stands out from most of the accomodation in the area. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with access via stairs or lift.
The local area is undeveloped in comparison to most of the Spanish Costas, and in some ways unsophisticated. The surrounding area is still very agricultural being known as the 'Orchard of Spain'. There are good restaurants and bars to be found, and we can tell you where, but there is never any doubting you are in Spain. If you are looking for “pie & chips” or all night Karaoke bars this is not the place for you. If, however you are looking for the “real” Spain, if you want to experience a different way of life and embrace the Spanish culture, then this is your ideal place to stay.
The area has over 300 sunny days per year, with the monthly average temperature ranging between 18C and 25C from May to October. A car, while not essential, is recommended to allow you to make the most of you stay.

Local activities in and around Mazarron, Costa Calida - Murcia
The Mediterranean waters offer ample opportunities for watersports. There are several diving schools locally, both in Puerto de Mazarron and La Azhoia. Sailing and windsurfing, as well as the more sedate hire of pedaloes, can also be found nearby.
For the golf enthusiast there are courses to suit all abilities within reach. For example, there is a 9-hole course at the Camposol urbanization (approximately 20 minutes drive), and the world famous La Manga Club, with three top quality 18-hole courses, is a mere 45 minute drive away.
The local mountains offer opportunities for the walker and mountain biker alike. For the more serious outdoor pursuitist, less than an hour's drive takes you to the spectacular Sierra Espuna National Park.
Cartagena offers ample shopping as well as providing much of historical interest, including the world's first submarine (allegedly). Murcia, the eponymous capital of the region, has much to offer both the shopper and the culture vulture
Rental Notes: Change over day is normally Saturday or Sunday although we can be flexible depending on other commitments. Arrival time is 4pm (or later) and you must vacate the apartment by 11am on your departure day. We have a local representative who will provide you with the keys and deal with any questions you have. More details will be provided at the time of booking. A deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks before the first day of the rental. Towels are provided for use in the apartment only. You need to provide you own beach/swimming pool towels. Detailed instructions for finding the apartment from San Javier (Murcia) or Alicante airport will be provided.
