Originally built in 1622 for a priest of the local parish, this stone built house has 3 bedrooms. Surrounded by fantastic woods and countryside with walks along the River Sarre which is 50 metres from the property. Set in the peaceful hamlet of Talroch within a 5minute walk of the small town of Melrand with local shops, restaurant and bars.

The house is built of local granite and shows the amazing skills of 17th century stone masons, it has recently been renovated to provide lounge/dining room, kitchen and separate family bathroom on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms, one twin & 2 doubles, on the first floor. One of the double rooms has an enuite shower room and WC and there is a seperate WC also on this floor.
Within 50 metres the River Sarre winds its way through the wooded countryside and there are lovely riverside and woodland walks. Enjoy a 10 minute stroll to the 17th century chapel in the woods or a ramble along the many footpaths for up to 3 hours to local towns and villages. Local wildlife is in abundance with red squirrels in the woods around the house, otters in the local rivers, and an amazing variety of bird species, from buzzards whirling overhead, egrets and kingfishers fishing from the riverbanks and 5 types of woodpecker seen in the woods. The surrounding area is full of attractions of all types to please both families with children and adults looking for peace and tranquility, from elaborate chateaus to historical villages and lakes and rivers with canoeing, swimming and of course fishing. The southern Brittany coast is 30 - 40 minutes away by car and there are safe clean beaches to be found all along this wonderful coastline.

Aquariums at Lorient and in the town of Vannes on the south coast.
