  Welcome to our holiday home in Swanage. It has been part of the family for the last 100 years ever since my grandfather helped build it. We have had many happy holidays and weekends here as the family has grown. The house is comfortably furnished with new beds.

  The centrally heated house makes good use of its space and can accommodate up to 7 people. There are double beds in 2 bedrooms and 3 single beds in the attic. The attic is the children’s favourite room and the TV should give the grown-ups extra time in bed in the morning! The front bedroom has a small alcove with a cot. There are stairgates to protect younger children. The beds are equipped with duvets and pillows and there are bedspreads and blankets should you need them. Bed linen and towels are available for hire

If you’re tired after a long day or if it’s raining there is a TV (Freeview), DVD/VCR player and radio in the sitting room as well as another TV in the dining room. There are some board games and plenty of paperbacks to help you relax. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with views to the Purbeck Hills and close to several footpaths that take you into the countryside. It is an ideal base for beach or walking holidays in the Isle of Purbeck or Dorset.

  Terrestrial TV, Video, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There are TVs in the sitting room (DVD & VHS), dining room (Freeview) and attic. There is also a good selection of paperpacks and plenty of literature about the locality.
Outside:
  Garden, BBQ, Garden Furniture. The garden is enclosed with a patio and lawn. It is ideal for barbecues.

  Children Welcome, Not Suitable For Wheelchairs, Sorry - No Smokers.

Swanage Beach – Safe swimming, Punch and Judy, etc. 1 mile (15 minutes walk).

Studland Bay – Fabulous sandy beach next to a heath with free parking for National Trust Members about 4 miles away.

Durlston Country Park – Excellent cliff-top walks with lighthouse, dolphin lookout post and ‘The Globe’.

Corfe Castle – Major local landmark steeped in history.

Swanage Steam Railway – Very popular with a regular service to Corfe Village.

Purbeck Hills - Fantastic Walks with views over Poole Harbour and the New Forest in the distance - footpaths start close to the house.

Sporting Activities:
Challenging 18-hole pitch & putt golf course – 5 minutes walk away in Victoria Avenue. Beach Gardens there is an 18 hole putting course, public tennis courts and a bowling green - 15 minutes walk away towards the beach. Swimming pools at Ulwell Caravan Park and Swanage Municipal Caravan Park.
