At Wester Lix we have Self catering accommodation situated in the spectacular Highlands of Scotland near to the village of Killin in perthshire. Features of the location include our own private lochan fed from the burn that runs through the site. Wester Lix is set within its own secluded and private grounds of 9 acres and is a family business run by its owners Gill and Dave Hunt.

Jonnas Cottage - A very comfortable cottage offering accommodation to groups or families of 4/ 5. A traditional 2 story building approx 10 yrs old has now been completely refurbsihed throughout. The lounge now has a wood burning stove and new patio windows as well as being completely refurbsihed. The kitchen/diner has a wonderful new kitchen and we have added a dishwasher. Both bedrooms are en-suite - with a further shower and sauna room downstairs. This cottage was redecorated & re carpeted and re-furnished for June 2005.
We have replaced the patio doors from the lounge leading out to a new decking area with private dining furniture overlooking our private Lochan. The kitchen/diner is open plan, spacious & offers electric oven & hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom with double bed has an ensuite bathroom, the twin is also en-suite. Additional beds for younger guests can be made available by arrangement.
Other features include Oil Fired central heating, wood burning stove, sauna, double glazing, colour tv with Sky Digital, video or DVD on request at no additional charge. Jonnas Cottage has a very light & open feel with all doors & woodwork left in a natural finish, the lounge is south facing with the private decking area benefiting from sunlight from morning to eve.

Bathrooms:
2 Bathrooms, 1 Shower. We have two en-suite bathrooms and a further shower room in the sauna room.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen has - we hope - everything you need and if it doesn't then we want to know about it.
General:
Real Fire, Central Heating, House Linen. NB if you are coming from abroad then we do provide towels at no extra cost.
We can also provide a highchair and travel cot at no extra cost and we ALWAYS provide a smile . . . at no extra cost.
Dining:
Seating for 6. The dining kitchen room is very spacious and being open plan to the kitchen allows for the 'chef' not be cut off from other members of the party.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, Video, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There is usually at least one pub in the village which has live music at the weekend.
Outside:
Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Jonna's sits in nine acres of land in a lovely clearing in the middle of the Dochart Forest

Ideal for those looking for peace and quiet and a warm friendly welcome to a clean and comfortable cottage.
Local activities in and around Killin, Central Scotland
There is plenty to see and do in Killin and the surrounding area - walking, climbing, watersports, sightseeing, Wildlife park, Safari Park.
We are currently(due to a cancellation) available for the week of the Killin Highland games - so if you have never seen a Highland games before then come and stay with us 5-12 July.
