A self-contained apartment located by the pool within our secluded garden in the tranquil area of Rana Verde, situated within 5 minutes drive of the blue flag beach of Barossa and the prestigious Ballesteros Novo Sancti Petri golf course. The Costa de la Luz is the last costa yet to be discovered Miles of golden sandy beaches offer a uniquely " Spanish" feel. The area offers wonderful open countryside and coastline to explore.
We offer comfortable accommodation for 2 to 4 people with en suite facilities, use of pool and private outside terrace within our secluded garden.
The historic cities of Cadiz, Jerez and Seville are all within easy reach as are the traditional towns of Vejer, Arcos and Medina Sidonia. The apartment within our shady garden is perfectly situated for those who wish to explore this area.
We can also arrange painting holidays. We have reached an agreement with a local artist. The break includes 7 nights accommodation for max. 3 adults with 12hrs instruction & criticism, transport to the scenes on 3 days, informal lunch meeting on 1st day to discuss clients wishes & pack of relevant materials in watercolour or acrylic. The apartment is particularly conveniently situated within one mile of the N340 coastal road affording ease of access to the historic maritime city of Cadiz, and nearby Jerez, with its sherry Bodegas. The white hilltop villages including Medina Sidona and Grazellema are all within a days return drive through the beautiful national parkland.
The apartment is only one hour drive via the A4 from the spectacular city of Seville, the spiritual home of flamenco, guitar and the art of the matador. Tarifa, the wind-surfing capital of Europe also offers a day trip by jetfoil to Morocco. Five minutes away is the old fishing port of Sancti Petri, now offering modern water sports facilities and a marina with atmospheric beach bars and restaurants.
For experienced horse riders the "El Chaparral" dressage equestrian centre is close by and all standards of golfing and other sports facilities are available locally.
From airport A4 Cadiz toKm655 then E5.Algeciras Take the 10km junction (NOT BEFORE!) & follow signs to La Barossa Beach. Onto Carreterra de Las Lagunas after ap. 2km take left turn into Cmo del Fresno
