This villa (The Seagulls) is located on a large plot very near to the sea, below the Salobreña and is accessed via a 1 km road from the Salobreña car park. It is quite secluded and enjoys unrivaled views over the sea, the coastal plain and Salobreña town. Dolphins are regularly seen from the terrace and one can hear the waves breaking on the rocks below. The swimming pool is kept filled year round allowing it to be used in every season, should you wish.
The house is on a very large plot of around 3,500 square metres laid out with what is now a very established range of trees and shrubs so that the villa is quite well hidden from view. There is a track in front of the villa which plays host to horses from the Salobrena and the odd person who knows there is a small rocky beach at the end and as you can see from the photos, the villa garden is very private.
The use of bare concrete as a design feature is continued inside the building on the lounge and master bedroom ceilings. The whole house has been lovingly cared for by the owners who have retained so many of the original features and equipment; the interior is an immaculately kept time warp but once the shutters are opened and the views over the gardens and sea open up, it all works remarkably well. The fully shaded lower terrace will become the focus for dining during the heat of the day, leaving the upper terrace for the late evening sundowner.
The main entrance leads to the lounge/dining room with TV, panoramic views of the sea and sliding doors to the upper terrace.

The climate ranges from 18 ºC in winter to 25 ªC in summer, so it is a wonderful weather to be able to enjoy any of the following: Horse riding 750 m; sea 1 km; beaches, shops and village 3 kms; golf 5 kms; water skiing, paragliding 25 kms; diving, windsurfing, 15 kms; spa 10 kms, skiing (snow in Sierra Nevada) 90 kms. The location is wonderful to visit Malaga or Granada for the day.
At the end of the Salobreña car park there is a tarred pathway that leads directly to the villa.
