One of 4 individual rental properties sitting in the small peaceful hamlet of Deuville just outside Cognac in South West France. Formed around a traditional Charentaise farmhouse the accommodation has been created through the sympathetic conversion of a former distillery and the old cognac storage barns. The buildings stand in 2 1/2 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland and are bordered on all sides by vines. The perfect place to relax and unwind.

The Lounge
L'Ancienne Distillery has been developed to provide the highest standard of accomodation and on site facilities whilst retaining the original charm and character of the old buildings. The result is 4 independent properties with a wealth of exposed stonework and beams and all the facilities required for a perfect holiday. The properties sleep 8, 6, 4 and 2, and can be rented individually or together. Details given are for 'Hennessy' sleeping 6. The property Hennessy has been created from an old Cognac storage barn and retains the character of the original building whilst providing comfort and luxury. The main living area has exposed beams, a 'cathedral ceiling' and beautiful stonewalls. Light floods in through the huge arched patio door and the main room looks out onto the gardens of the central courtyard.
All the rooms are furnished to the highest standards with a mix of antique and contempory pieces that ensure our guests enjoy both tradition and comfort.

Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The 13m by 6m pool is set in a enclosed, secure courtyard. There are 2 separate BBQ areas. The property has a private patio. Swings, badminton and football are available in the grounds.
