Formed around a traditional Charentaise farmhouse, the accommodation has been created through the sympathetic conversion of a former distillery and the old cognac storage barns. The buildings stand in 2 1/2 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland and are bordered on all sides by vines. The perfect place to relax and unwind.

L'Ancienne Distillerie has been developed to provide the highest standard of accommodation and on site facilities whilst retaining the original charm and character of the old buildings. The result is 4 independent properties with a wealth of exposed stonework and beams and all the facilities required for that perfect holiday. The properties sleep 8, 6, 4 and 2, and can be rented individually or together. Details are for 'Otard ' sleeping 2. The beautiful accomodation - Otard - has been created by the conversion of an old Cognac storage barn. With it's exposed stone walls and sloping ceilings the property retains all the original beauty whilst providing accomodation of the highest standard and comfort.
In the past, when we were holidaying in France, we often struggled to find small properties for 2 people that were more than a bedsit or an afterthought to the main development. With this in mind we have developed Otard to be a large 'house' with properly defined rooms and full facilties.
Built into the walls of the courtyard surrounding the pool the property has a wonderful double aspect. Enter through the patio doors overlooking the pool and then move through to the living area with the magnificant vistas over the rear garden and the vines beyond. The patio area to the rear ensures that Otard's guests have seclusion and privacy making it the perfect hideaway for two.
