Located just inside the Loire Valley, this 100 year old farm has been restored to a high standard and offers superb self catering accommodation for between 2 - 14+ guests.
Set in a pretty courtyard with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside this property offers a peaceful, relaxing retreat in rural France.
Why not wander out into the orchard after a hard days sight seeing and enjoy a barbeque, you can watch the sun go down with a glass or two of wine. All you will hear are the birds and the cows and maybe even the occasional tractor!

The Gite is available for 2-6+ guests. The living area is large and comfortable with original granite stone walls with ample seating for everyone.
There is a fully equipped modern kitchen including fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.
There are two well decorated and airy loft bedrooms, one double and one twin, each has room for a folding bed (suitable for children).
Also, for extra guests, one of the sofas converts to a double bed.
The bright and cheerful bathroom has a shower, w.c. and hand wash basin.
The Farmhouse is available for 2 - 8+ Guests.
Fully renovated to a high standard the Farmhouse has a beautiful spacious open plan living area with satellite t v. and wood burning stove.
The kitchen is also open plan with large dining table, cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
Upstairs are 3 good size bedrooms. One double, one with a double and single bed and a family room.
There is a large family bathroom with bath, shower and w. c.
As you will discover there is plenty to see and do in the local area. We have fishing and sports facilities in the area.
You will find La Godefrere is an ideal central base for touring numerous places of interest.

Local activities in and around Mayenne, Charente/Vendee/W. Loire
As you will discover there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area - why not visit the huge market at St Hilaire du Harcouet on a Wednesday morning and pick up some of the wonderful French cheese and cider for lunch.
The small market towns of Gorron and Ambrieres les Vallees are close by and you will find all your provisions at the supermarkets there.
A little further away is the Mont St Michel which is a monestery built on rock out at sea and well worthy of a day out!
St Fraimbault is just around the corner and is known as the village of flowers, if you visit in the summer you will understand why!
Lots of the local villages have fetes throughout the summer where you can mingle with the locals and enjoy the French way of life.
From La Godefrere you will find a central base for touring numerous laces of interest.

Changeover day is Saturday unless by prior arrangement.
A deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking, with the balance due 14 days before arrival.
