Villa Kamelya is situated on the edge of a quiet residential area of Kalkan overlooking olive groves and Kalkan bay. A few minutes along the road and you will be in the cobbled narrow streets of the charming old village of Kalkan.

The villa stands alone with uninterrupted views of Kalkan harbour, the Taurus mountains and Kalkan Bay despite it’s close proximity to the village.
The ground floor has spacious, open-plan accommodation making the most of it’s panoramic views. Patio doors from the kitchen, dining area and lounge area all lead to the terrace and pool . At the side of the villa is a secluded garden with high stone walls and a barbecue; perfect for an evening meal under the stars.
There is a large L shaped pool with Roman steps at one end. The terraces around the pool have sun-loungers for 8 and parasols.
The kitchen is well-appointed with Bosch equipment (fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, hob and microwave) for those who enjoy cooking the abundant local produce. Alternatively Kalkan offers over a hundred restaurants to choose from, some of which will deliver your dinner party if requested!
The dining area is equipped for 8, as is the lounge with 2 large settees ( both of which have a mattress base and can be used as beds) and additional comfortable chairs. There is satellite TV, video and dvd player, a CD player with a selection of CD’s and a telephone/computer point. There is also a shower room on the ground floor.
A sweeping marble staircase leads to the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms ( 2 double, 1 twin) each with an en-suite shower room. and access to their own balcony. The master bedroom has a glazed bay window with stunning panoramic views.
The curved staircase continues up to the roof terrace where you can enjoy watching the sunset over the bay from the comfortable seating.
There are cool, marble floors throughout, air-conditioning in all rooms and flyscreens on all doors and windows. The villa, garden and pool are serviced every day and the linen changed twice a week.

Local activities in and around Kalkan, Turquoise Coast/Lycia
Walk down through the olive groves to the sea (about 10 mins.) where you can swim from the rock platforms or go to the village beach.
Less than five minutes walk from the villa (without hills!) will take you to the village centre.
Kalkan is an old fishing village with narrow streets winding down to the harbour where you can hire a boat at very reasonable prices or take an organised day trip on a gulet.
Scuba diving, snorkeling, even ringos and bananas for the adventurous are available. Alternatively take a bus or taxi to some of the nearby beaches or historical sites. Car hire is also available.
Visit the weekly market or browse around the jewelry, gift and antique shops in the village.
In the evening enjoy one of the many rooftop restaurants or visit one of the bars offering jazz or traditional Turkish entertainment.
