This delightful and immaculate holiday cottage is located in the grounds of a recently extended and modernised farmhouse set in beautifully maintained gardens with a large pond and enjoying rural views.
Lying just outside the delightful ancient village of Biddenden, famous for its cobbled pavements, beautiful old beamed houses, renowned tea-room and the award winning vineyard, and mid-way between the charming, bustling town of Tenterden, with its antique shops, tea-rooms, Leisure centre and swimming pool, the Kent & Sussex steam railway and Headcorn which boasts a main line station for trains to London (55 minutes), small shopping complex, local stores, pubs and restaurants.
Biddenden village has a sports club, and within the area are many local golf courses, horse riding and other leisure pursuits.The accommodation is within a short drive and ideally placed for guests who have relatives or friends staying in the well known Benenden Hospital.
Ample parking is available close to the cottage with private entrance to one side into the open plan kitchen/dining area with laminate flooring and open plan stairs leading to the bedrooms. The kitchen area has oak storage kitchen units with electric oven & hob, washing /dryer, dishwasher, separate fridge and microwave with attractive table, chairs and matching sideboard. Door through to the light and comfortable lounge - cream carpeting, pretty sofa and armchair, electric fire in a wooden surround, coffee table, colour TV/video and bookshelves all provide a pleasant living room.
Upstairs - with sloping ceilings are located the double and a single bedroom - prettily decorated and both with fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers, spotlights and spacious eaves storage. The separate shower room has a power shower, WC, washbasin, shaver light and Dimplex wall heater. A Velux window on the landing gives additional light and from the bedroom windows there are lovely views over the fields and nearby ponds - popular with fishermen. This pretty holiday cottage benefits from electric storage heating downstairs and panel heaters in the upper rooms. Garden furniture and a barbecue are located within the very pretty private garden area.
