This new luxury lodge (built in October 2004) is situated at South Lakeland Leisure village, a prestigious new development approximately one mile from Junction 35 of the M6.
The Leisure Village has been developed with conservation very much to the fore. The lake within the Leisure Village has already attracted various wildlife.
The accommodation consists of a double bedroom, two twin bedded rooms, one luxurious bathroom containing toilet, wash basin, spa bath and walk in shower, living room featuring state of the art 32” LCD TV including digital freeview channels, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The lodge also has front decking looking onto the lake with a 6 person hot tub.
Please note that the lodge is no smoking and does not take pets - sorry!
Waters Edge bar and restaurant, which has already earned an excellent reputation and is part of the Hi-Life Members Club, is situated within the Leisure Village.
Pure Leisure – Leisure Centre, including indoor swimming pool, steam room, fully equipped gymnasium, daily classes inc. Yoga, Bums and Tums, etc, beauty treatment rooms and Café Lago - Tapas Bar which overlooks the pool.
The Leisure Village is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Lake District. Blackpool, Morecambe Bay, Lancaster City, Cumbria are all within 25 minutes drive.
There are numerous lovely villages on the doorstep to explore including Arnside, Silverdale and Kirby Lonsdale. The RSPC Nature Reserve at Leighton Moss is a short drive away.
Leighton Hall is open to the public and has an impressive collection of antique furniture including many pieces by Gillow and is well worth a visit. Birds of prey are also flown at Leighton Hall on a daily basis.
Carnforth Railway Station, famous for the film ‘Brief Encounter’ and recently restored to its former glory is approximately 2 miles away.
Docker Park Farm Vistors Centre is just 5 minutes away and a wonderful place for the Children. Open all year round (weekends November to February).

Local activities in and around Carnforth, North
Non motorised water sports are allowed on the lake within the leisure village. Discounts have been arranged for guests of South Lakes Lodges for water skiing on the adjoining lake which is within easy walking distance of the ldoge.
Golf courses nearby include Morecambe, Lancaster, Heysham, Kirby Lonsdale, Kendal, Silverdale and Grange-over-Sands. All these courses welcome visitors and have fabulous views.

Rental Notes: Christmas and New Year weeks are priced at £1173, all other seasons priced between £275 and £816. Mid-week and Weekend rates are available on request subject to availability.
Week (7 day) bookings from 2007 onwards are from Friday to Friday.
Prices include gas and electricity.
Beds are made up on arrival, however towels are not.
A deposit of £150 secures your booking, balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. For bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival, payment in full is required.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: Your lodge will be available from 4 pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on your day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
Entrance to the Pure Leisure onsite Leisure Centre (use of the swimming pool, steam room and gymnasium) is not included in the rental and can be purchased separately. We strongly advise any guest wishing to book beauty treatments do so in advance with the Leisure Centre.
