Cressbrook is one of Derbyshire's most secret and picturesque villages. It's a conservation village in the heart of the Peak District National Park and is a super location for exploring the abundance of peak district attractions and enjoy some excellent walking with the Monsal Trail minutes away. It is close to Bakewell, Buxton and the local village of Tideswell where the shops specialise in fresh local produce. Chatsworth House is about ten minutes drive.

Badger Cottage is a pretty terraced 18th Century Grade 2 listed cottage in the centre of Cressbrook opposite the pub. It has breathtaking views along Monsal Dale and to Matlock on the horizon. It has recieved a Greenwatch Conservation Award for the restoration of the cottage.
Accommodation includes: A welcoming sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating around a Derbyshire fireplace with log burner. There is a TV,DVD/CD player and video. selection of games books and videos . The kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery, glassware and utensils for your stay. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave, ironing facilities and a fridge with ice box. The downstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over,WC and handbasin. The upstairs shower room also has WC and handbasin. There are three bedrooms, two are double and one has full size bunk beds. The main bedroom has a small TV, ideal to relax in after a busy day. All rooms have lovely rural views. All rooms are beautifully furnished with good quality furniture and antiques. The cottage is fully centrally heated.
Tariff includes: Household linen and power. A cot and high chair are provided. Pets welcome at an extra charge.
