Tideswell is a conservation village in the national park and is well placed for walking and for exploring the abundance of peak district attractions. Chatsworth, Bakewell and Buxton are just a few mins away. Bikes can be stored in the shed. Doorstep walks.

Bluebell Cottage is a pretty late 17th Century cottage which was formerly a pub. It has been refurbished to high standards with many original features and beams retained. It nestles in a quiet street in the centre of Tideswell close to shops, tearooms and pubs.
The accommodation includes: A beamed sitting room with plenty of comfy seating around a stone fireplace with books, puzzles and DVDs to make you feel at home. The oak refectory dining table seats up to ten. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, double oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, ironing facilities and a fridge with icebox. The bathroom has bath with shower over, WC and handbasin. There are three bedrooms:- The family room has a double bed and steps leading to a galleried sleeping area in the eaves with a second double bed. This room has a small TV and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom has twin beds. The Cottage is fully centrally heated.
All rooms are tastefully furnished with good quality furniture and antiques. The walled garden is secure and has a small wildlife pond. The stone outbuilding is ideal for storing bikes. There are lovely walks from the door. Tariff includes household linen and power.

Seating for 8. The large dining table seats 8 comfortably and can easily accomodate 10 persons.

Terrestrial TV, Video, DVD, Radio, Board Games. There is a well stocked library of books and DVDs and games are provided to help you feel at home. There are a range of pubs and tea rooms in the village.
Outside:
Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Garden Furniture. There is a small wildlife pond in the garden which is inhabited by frogs and greater crested newts. There is plenty of space to store bikes in the shed.

Bluebell is well sited for walking with many lovely walks from the door. An abundance of castles, historic houses, theme parks,market towns, wonderful walks, caves and other activites are within easy reach. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Buxton and the caves at Castleton are just 10 mins drive. Many episodes of Peak Practice have been filmed locally.
Manchester and Sheffield are within a 45 min drive.
