Beer is a picturesque fishing village snuggled in the rolling hills in East Devon's beautiful coastal scenery. The beach is a natural sheltered suntrap and has interesting rockpools to explore, take a boat trip, hire a beach hut or just enjoy a Devon cream tea at the beach cafes. It forms part of the South Devon coastal footpath and this part of the coastline is a World Heritage Site due to the important fossils found here.

Beachcomber Cottage is a period cottage built 1900 in a quiet location with great views over the village. It's just 4 minutes from the beach and a minute from the main street with local shops specialising in cream teas and fresh produce, gift shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. A pretty stream runs along the main street to the sea.
The cottage is well furnished and equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The sitting room has comfy seating around the fireplace with gas fire. There is a widescren 32 inch LCDTV, CD/DVD and video. Games, books and videos are provided to make you feel at home. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery, glassware and utensils for your stay. There is an automatic washing machine, hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, ironing facilities and a larder fridge. There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and handbasin. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower above, WC and handbasin with mirror and shaver point. There are 3 bedrooms, two are double and one is twin. All rooms are tastefully furnished. The cottage is fully centrally heated. It has a sunny secure garden with barbecue. It is our second home and you will find lots of little extras which you may not expect to find in a holiday cottage.
Tariff includes: All fuel costs. A cot and high chair are provided. Please bring own linen or use our hire service. Dogs welcome but subject to £24 charge each.
