Le Pressoir is a stunning 4 bedroom barn conversion just a 2 minute stroll to a village with bars/cafes & restaurants & only 8 minutes from wonderful child-friendly 'Blue Flag' beaches.

We specifically cater for families with children - we have an extensive library of books, lots of childrens toys ranging from dressing-up clothes to train sets, building blocks, a dolls’ house & a huge library of children’s videos & dvd's plus more!
For families traveling with young babies, we also supply within the price: a steriliser, bottle warmer, food blender, bouncer, play pen, bed-guard, travel cot, changing mat, baby bath, high chair, push chair & children's crockery & cutlery.
In the sitting room you will find a projector TV displayed on an impressive motorised screen with the full sky packages including sports, movies & of course the childrens channels! The Wii console and family ineractive games is a huge success & loved by all. Also lots of videos, Hi-fi CD player, Wi-Fi, & an iPod docking station.
The open plan social sitting room is partially covered with rugs for maximum comfort and offers large comfortable sofas, a huge library of books, plus lots of puzzles and children's toys from train sets to dressing up clothes & princess slippers.
The large kitchen is the social hub of the barn and is very well equipped including a large 5 burner range cooker, (great for when cooking for large numbers) a large farmhouse table, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and ironing facilities.
Those little extra's - You will also find kitchen essentials like washing up liquid, dish clothes, bin bags, kitchen foil, cling-film, kitchen towels & salt & pepper grinders at your disposal.
Le Pressoir has 2 master bedrooms, 1 twin & 1 triple bedroom all air conditioned. All bedrooms have been furnished to an exceptionally high standards offering very comfortable quality beds and all doubles have mattress toppers for maximum comfort. Each bathroom has been equipped with luxurious modern home comforts including a Jacuzzi bath, separate multi-jet shower systems and marble-top hand basins.
The shared swimming pool is surrounded by 150m2 of decking with lots of sunloungers. The pool has a large terrace and an additional raised decked area, which is shaded by a large walnut tree with café-style tables & chairs. On your private decked area you will find quality garden furniture and a herb garden for you to pick mint from to enjoy your 'Pimms' on the deck!

Le Pressoir is only a 2 minute stroll from the centre of Angles, which has a large street market twice a week in July & August - an excellent opportunity to sample much of the locally produced food, including cheese, meat, fish and wine.
In the summer months Angles organises special events in the square including fun days, evening entertainers, jazz and blues nights, firework displays & night markets. You can sit with the locals and enjoy 'moules & frites' listening to a band watching the kids dance to their hearts content.
Located so close to the village, you can stroll down in the evenings to a choice of 5 great restaurants.
The village has its own Office de Tourisme, as well as a post office, two banks, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, an aromatherapist, a pharmacy, five cafés/bars and four restaurants as well as supermarkets, butchers, a fishmonger & a fruit & veg shop.
The large fishing port of l'Aiguillon is just 10 minutes away. Early risers can choose from a range of freshly-caught fish, mussels, oysters, langoustine and gambas at the town's fish market.

Indian forest adventure
Marked trails in the forest up to 20ft high give you up to 122 different challenges. You are suspended by safety harnesses and are able to climb, swing, dismount and even slide across the forest. Great area for toddlers too, with themed bouncy castles, ball park, rock climbing, inflatable park, trampolines, swings, slides, ropes and pony rides to name but a few! Excellent day out for the children and for adults and only 5 minutes away, Great fun and highly recommended.

Puy du Fou is where time stands still - take a journey through 2,000 years of history. There are minstrels in the heart of the woods and master falconers in the meadows. This huge area covering 40 hectares will be an instant hit with children and adults alike.
The beach at La-Tranche-sur-Mer (10 minutes away) has a 6-hectare area of water for water sports. The "Cercle Nautique Tranchais" (CNT) offers sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and sand-sailing. The area is also superb for boating and surfing enthusiasts
The famous city of La Rochelle is just 45 minutes away. Explore the chic shops or watch the world go by from one of the many trendy bars or bistros. And after an exhausting morning's shopping, you can look forward to a leisurely lunch in one of the mouth-watering seafood restaurants which overlook the port.
You can enjoy two types of fishing - On the freshwater rives upstream from the lock gates at Moricq (5 mins away), you can try for pike, perch, carp, bream and other bleak. You will need a licence which can be purchased at our office du tourism.
Or you can fish in the saltwater reaches of the Lay, from the gates of Moricq to the mouth of the river which is subject to maritime regulations, so you can fish free of charge, for grey mullet, eels and plaice.

France is one of Europe's most popular golfing holiday destinations. It has over 25 of the Top 100 golf courses in Europe - and many golfers are now choosing to play in France rather than the traditional Spanish golf resorts. French golf courses are of an exceptionally high standard, are competitive and are well managed. We have 5 course within easy reach!
Rental Notes: Prices are based on up to 4 adults, 5 children sharing the property.
Prices are advertised in GBP, however, payments are taken in Euros on an exchange rate of 1.30%.
Credit Card payments are accepted, however a 2% surcharge applies with this method of payment. Alternatively payments can be made by international bank transfer.
Luxury 100% cotton bed linen is supplied within the price, as well as bath towels and bathroom hand towels. We also offer large 100% cotton beach towels for hire (saves that bit of extra room in the car on the way home for the great bottles of wine!)
Winter lets are welcome from Mid October through to Mid April each year at a price of 1300euros per month and are based on one family sharing. Bedding, electric, gas, water, personal taxes, sky packages or any fuel is not included within the price.
