The cottage is light and airy with comfortable furnishings and both the dining area and lounge open out into the rear garden, which also has views towards the sea. ‘Heathland Cottage’ is perfect for visitors to the Island at any time of year as many attractions are within a 20-30 minute drive and there are many walks surrounding the property.

Shorwell Village centre with a local Post Office/Shop and the Crown Inn, which is child friendly and serves excellent food are only a few minutes away and the village also boasts a 12th Century church and three historic manors. There are many walks at hand as well as being a few minutes drive from the beaches of the south west coast, and close to Blackgang Chine. The village of Brighstone is only a five-minute drive away where there is a newsagents, Spar Shop and several local shops, there is also ‘The Three Bishops’ public house. Newport town centre is only a 15-minute drive away and Ventnor Town with its supermarket, beach and local shops etc is approximately 20-25 minute drive away.

Visitors should be aware that whilst the rear garden area is fully enclosed, the garden to the side of the driveway is raised children should be supervised whilst in this area Sleeps 7 + Cot. Let Saturday to Saturday, occupation from 3pm, vacation by 10am, tourist Board Grading: 4 Stars.
