Throwley Hall Farm is a Georgian built farmhouse conveniently situated in the quiet countryside near to the beautiful Manifold Valley and Dovedale. Superb scenery and walking country are right on the doorstep, and attractions such as Alton Towers are a short journey away. The farm stands on a spur overlooking the Manifold Valley. This is one of the most famous rivers of the Peak District and carves a spectacular deep valley with numerous rocky crags, a sight which is matched locally only by Dovedale - just a few miles away.
Throwley Moor Farm accommodates 12 people. It is a large, attractive farmhouse situated about 1 mile from Throwley Hall Farm.

The farm is a working beef cattle farm and has a long history - next door to the farmhouse stand the ruins of Throwley Hall, a 16th century manor house. The farm specialises in pedigree Charolais cattle, which graze in the fields surrounding the farm, and on the hillside overlooking the Manifold valley.
The facilities include fitted carpets (except in the kitchen) and central heating. There is a Lounge/ Games room and sitting Room with colour TV . There is also a large dining kitchen with electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A shower and toilet downstairs and a large bathroom and toilet upstairs and also a separate shower room and WC. A Cot, High Chair and payphone are available, and also a washer and dryer are provided.
The bedroom accommodation comprises of one double bedroom with en-suite facilities, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, one bedroom with a double bed and two single beds and one bedroom with 4 single beds.

Rental Notes: Dogs are allowed - an extra £5 each. This is a sheep farming area and dogs must be kept on leads. A 25% deposit is required when booking.
