Boatmans cottage was built in 1640 and retains many original features including beamed ceilings, oak flooring etc. Very tastefully decorated and fully equipped. A real 'Home from Home' feel.
The'Hythe' is a conservation area with cottages and grade 2 listed buildings situated on the banks of the river Thames. A very pretty, quiet lane which leads directly to beautiful walks along the tow path.
The town centre is a 2 minute walk over the bridge and boasts many restaurants, pubs, bars, sidewalk cafes, department stores and a large cinema complex. The main BR train station is a 7 minute walk from the cottage with frequent trains into London Waterloo (Journey time-20 minutes) Also, ideally placed for major motorway links (M25,M4,M3,M40,M1) and London Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Just need to bring your own laptop! The telephone at the cottage is there for your usage too. All local and National telephone calls can be made at any time of day or night for free!
